पुराणांत शिवाचे दोन रूप दाखवले जातात एकाला नाव भोला सांब किंवा शंभो आणि दुसर्याला नाव आहे रुद्र किंवा भैरव
जेव्हा मनुने संहिता बनवली, तेव्हा शिवा भोला सांब होता त्याने सुरुवातीला तिच्याशी जुळवून घ्यायचे ठरवले कारण तो एक कृषक होता ,निर्माण कर्ता होता म्हणून त्याला सहानुभूतीची गरज होती म्हणून त्याने हि व्यवस्था स्वीकारली. म्हणजे, शिवा(सांब शंभो )-निर्माण-सहानुभूती -जुळवून घेणे. हा प्रकृतीचा नियम आहे म्हणजे उत्पादक कृषक जो आहे त्याला सहानुभूतीची सगळ्यात जास्त गरज आहे . कारण तो निर्माण कार्य करत असतो आणि त्याचे परिणाम सर्वांच्या जीवनावर होतो तोही चांगला .
आता शिवाच्या दुसर्या रुपाकडे लक्ष देऊ शिवाने जुळवून घेण्याचा खूप प्रयत्न केला ,पण व्यवस्था जेव्हा सहानुभूती देते तेव्हा त्याला अनेक समस्या निर्माण करते,हे त्याच्या लक्षात आले मग त्याचेच रुपांतर झाले ते समोरे जाण्याला म्हणजे व्यवस्थेत ज्या काही समस्या त्याला दिसू लागल्या ,त्याला त्याने सामोरे जायचे ठरवले आणि स्वतःची दहशत निर्माण केली तिचे कारण ज्या समस्या त्याला समोर येतील त्याचा नाश करन्यासाठी म्हणजे शिवा (रुद्र भैरव )-नाश -दहशत -सामोरे जाने
पर्यायाने आपण म्हणू शकता कि शिवा जेव्हा सांब रुपात होता त्याला सहानुभूती मिळाली ,पण त्याची हार त्यातच आली आणि शिव जेव्हा रुद्र रुपात आला तेव्हा त्याच्या दहशतीने त्याला जीत मिळवून दिली
यातून हे लक्षात येते कि
शिवा(सांब शंभो )-निर्माण-सहानुभूती-जुळवून घेणे-हार(व्यवस्थेचा भाग)
शिवा (रुद्र भैरव )-नाश -दहशत -सामोरे जाने-जीत(व्यवस्थेचा शिकार )
ज्या माणसाला काही नवीन निर्माण करण्याची इच्छा आहे त्याने सर्वांची सहनिभूती प्राप्त करणे योग्य आहे आणि तो माणूस व्यवस्थेचा भाग असला पाहजे
जो माणूस व्यवस्थेचा शिकार झाला आहे तो स्वतःची दहशत निर्माण करून व्यवस्था नष्ट करण्या साठी कार्यरत असतो
